The game takes you into the world of John Carter's adventures on the eponymous movie.
John - the hero and veteran of the U.S. Civil War, which by chance and against his will falls on the planet Barsoom (the Earth is - the planet Mars).
Together with John overcome formidable enemies and support his desire to save civilization on Barsoom.
